Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY to lead a complex, enterprise-wide security infrastructure transformation. You will own delivery from initiation through implementation, driving cross-functional alignment and executive reporting across global teams.

Qualifications include 8+ years in project management, experience with firewall/security programs, and strong leadership and communication skills. Prior Palo Alto Panorama/Strata exposure is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Management experience leading large-scale infrastructure or enterprise tech initiatives.
• Proven ability delivering complex, cross-functional programs in global orgs.
• Expertise with Jira, governance, RAID, and executive reporting.
• Experience guiding firewall/network security transformation projects; Palo Alto Panorama/Strata preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of a strategic global security project.
• Manage the migration of firewall configurations and security policies from Palo Alto Panorama to Palo Alto Strata, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and delivery metrics.
• Own project governance, including status reporting, executive communications, RAID logs, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution.
• Manage and optimize Jira boards to ensure accurate tracking of project progress, deliverables, and team commitments.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, engineering, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution across multiple workstreams.
• Influence and lead senior stakeholders and strong personalities, ensuring decisions are made and project objectives remain on track.
• Drive accountability across distributed teams and coordinate activities through project completion.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, escalations, and dependencies to minimize delivery impacts.
