Job summary

Chemours in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Senior Manager, Security & Resilience to lead enterprise physical security, resilience, and risk-management programs across locations in the United States, Latin America, and Asia.

The role reports to the VP, Chief Security Officer and requires extensive experience in security, investigations, and vendor management, with a focus on building organizational resilience and proactive risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, law enforcement, the intelligence community, military security, or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in physical security and investigations.
• Experience managing security related projects and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of physical security risk management, security technology, and regulatory/compliance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and influence stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
• Demonstrated strong communication, analytical, project-management, and problem-solving skills a must.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise physical security, resilience, and security risk-management programs across locations in the United States, Latin America, and Asia.
• Lead security vulnerability and risk assessments, translating findings into risk-based recommendations for mitigation and investment.
• Provide leadership for programs involving access control, CCTV, guard services, security technology, and other physical-security controls.
• Partner with business leaders to strengthen organizational resilience, providing security expertise in crisis management and business continuity.
• Lead security compliance and assurance activities with applicable requirements (e.g., Responsible Care, MTSA, HM-232, TISAX).
• Coordinate security audits, investigations, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Provide strategic oversight of security vendors and services, aligning performance with cost and service goals.
• Develop and monitor security metrics, dashboards, and reporting for management decisions.
