Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor. The GSOC Supervisor maintains full accountability for the GSOC and its personnel, systems, and procedures to ensure effective and timely response to alarms, calls of distress, incidents, and other activities.

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the liaison between the GSOC, Contract Security Management, and Global Security Management.
  2. Develop and direct the functions, processes, and operations of the GSOC, ensuring policies, procedures, and objectives align with client goals.
  3. Perform analysis, planning, and provide direction to maximize the value of the GSOC to the business.
  4. Develop, implement, and document training exercises to ensure effective performance of GSOC personnel.
  5. Identify and assist in implementing new technologies and upgrades for existing systems.
  6. Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, vendors, law enforcement, and security personnel via various communication systems.
  7. Motivate, coach, and lead the GSOC staff to develop their skills and performance.
  8. Manage software programs supporting operational processes such as travel security, incident reporting, etc.
  9. Provide feedback to clients and management to improve performance and mitigate failures.
  10. Handle escalations related to GSOC operations and customer service issues.
  11. Perform on-call duties as required, including after-hours and holidays.
  12. Develop and monitor intelligence sources to identify potential threats.
  13. Establish and monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement improvements.
  14. Perform supervisory responsibilities including staffing, performance appraisals, and goal setting.
  15. Create and deliver security presentations and reports.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (must have)

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in a Security Operations Center or similar environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service, and leadership abilities.
  • Active listening, attention to detail, and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising or managing a Security Operations Center or similar environment.
  • Military experience.
  • College degree in management, criminal justice, or related field.
