Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a GSOC Operator to monitor alarms, manage access, and coordinate responses for security incidents affecting Open Text operations and facilities. You will maintain CCTV systems, process video requests, and communicate with Security Management during emergencies.

You will also liaise with clients, staff, and emergency responders, ensuring accurate reporting and calm problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Strong report writing and analytics skills required.
• Proficiency with computer systems, software, and networks.
• Effective communication with IT/Security staff across teams.
• Ability to operate radio, telephone equipment and security consoles.
• Flexible to work various shifts and respond under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarm systems to ensure site security worldwide.
• Manage day-to-day access to company facilities in line with policy.
• Operate CCTV systems and process video footage requests.
• Provide access to facilities and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Notify and assist emergency personnel during incidents.
• Liaise with clients and other departments during emergencies.
• Direct visitors and monitor security perimeters.
• Log and report life safety events and security issues.
