Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy across regions. The role is remote, reporting to the Senior Director of Global EHS, with responsibilities spanning risk management, executive protection, crisis response, and travel security.

Required are 20+ years in security with 10+ years in leadership, plus a relevant degree. Travel 40–60% internationally; a Master’s or CPP/PSP/PCI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise‑level security programs.
• Willingness to travel 40%-60%, including internationally.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Master’s degree or CPP/PSP/PCI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
• Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity.
• Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
