Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Director of Global Security to lead enterprise security strategy and programs. This remote role drives risk management, crisis response, and executive protection across regions, partnering with EHS, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations.

Required are 20+ years in security or risk roles and 10+ years in leadership, with a Bachelor’s in Security Management and optional CPP/PSP/PCI credentials. Travel up to 40–60% internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant security/risk experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global security strategy and operations to protect employees, facilities, assets, and continuity.
• Define security policies, standards, and operating models across regions.
• Oversee risk assessments, physical security systems, and executive protection programs.
• Support crisis management, incident response, and business continuity planning.
