Job summary

Lone Star College seeks a Coordinator III for Honors and International Education to develop and communicate division goals, manage projects, and coordinate campus and system initiatives across multiple campuses in Texas.

Responsibilities include overseeing Global Scholars and Honors programming, maintaining the HIE center, budgeting, events, and student mentoring. Requires collaboration with the HIE Director and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus HIE programs including Global Scholars and Honors.
• Maintain the HIE campus center; coordinate facilities, supplies and student engagement tracking.
• Support budget and procurement processes; assist with data entry and expense reports.
• Plan, coordinate and host campus HIE events to promote persistence and graduation.
• Serve as a point-of-contact for students, mentors, and campus staff.
• Coordinate faculty and staff training sessions on undergraduate research and international education best practices.
• Coordinate outreach and recruitment to boost participation in HIE programs and events.
• Assess student needs and track progress for reports and evaluation.
