Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 11–14 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP lifecycle management including release, change and transport management.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, development and testing methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps).
• Proficiency in release orchestration tools and methodologies.
• Deep understanding of SAP modules and integration points to design and oversee test strategies.
• Expertise in test planning, execution and defect management within SAP environments.
• Advanced skills in test automation tools such as Tosca for efficient testing and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IT governance and regulatory compliance affecting SAP releases and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and execution of complex global SAP release projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
• Manage operational plans for large-scale SAP deployments and upgrades with considerable independence.
• Act as a key participant in significant release initiatives across SAP landscapes.
• Analyze release management problems and implement solutions where precedents may not exist.
• Oversee test cycles from planning to execution and continuously improve testing processes; design and implement test automation.
• Contribute input on resource planning and policy development within the SAP release framework.
• Support 1–3 year talent optimization plans within the SAP release function.
• Ensure successful delivery of solutions to complex release management challenges.
