Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC seeks an experienced senior sales leader to identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales across new and existing accounts. You will develop and implement sales plans, maximize gross margins, and collaborate with operations and leadership teams globally.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in global sales, a strong track record in negotiations, and deep knowledge of logistics regulations.

Qualifications

  • Four year college degree with a preference for business, economics or engineering
  • Minimum 10 years global sales experience
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated sales success and knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
  • Strong understanding of business beyond core functional expertise and in-depth knowledge of products and services
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and present in meetings/training
  • Ability to develop strong business relationships within all levels of the company and with customers
  • Strong knowledge of domestic/international regulatory compliance laws related to supply chain/transportation
  • MS Office, internet and job-specific software proficiency
  • Domestic and international travel is a job requirement

Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in new and existing accounts

  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, logistics and sales domestically and globally
  • Work with senior management to develop sales/marketing strategies to achieve growth and market share

Job description


  • Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and

  • existing accounts.

  • Develop and implement sales plans that support increased sales, while also

  • developing business strategies to maximize margins and increase revenue growth.

  • Prospect and closing on assigned accounts/territories and manage the relationships

  • with key accounts, maximizing all opportunities through those accounts.

  • Work corroboratively with the operational staff and other business development

  • personnel at multiple sites and locations to ensure customers' needs and

  • expectations are met.

  • Work with senior management, operations, purchasing, logistics and sales teams both domestically and globally to recommend sales and marketing strategies and programs that will help achieve targeted growth, profit and sales and marketing strategies and programs that will help achieve targeted growth, profit and a market share relative to corporate goals and trends in the industry.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements


  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

  • Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen.

  • Use of audio-visual equipment is required.


Education & Experience


  • Four year college degree with a preference for degrees in business, economics or engineering

  • Minimum 10 years global sales experience.

  • Minimum 10 years industry experience preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

  • Domestic and International travel is a requirement of the job


CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES


  • Professional certification may be required in some cases


California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 110,000 - 160,000 annually.
