Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on optimizing storage layouts, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate, secure handling of goods from receipt to shipment.

Key responsibilities include planning work, coordinating schedules, enforcing safety standards, and resolving issues to maintain efficient, error-free processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Three to four years of relevant, job-related experience.
  • Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans layout of warehouse and storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
  • Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues.
  • Advises and enforces safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements


  • Standing/Walking 75% of the time.

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time.

  • Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.

  • Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.


Education & Experience


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.

  • Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.


CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES


  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
