Job summary

Piping Technology & Products in Houston, TX, seeks two Sales Engineers to deliver technical presentations for our pipe support lines to client engineers, procurement, plant operations, and EPC partners.

You will work with Sales, Engineering, and Estimating to support proposals and RFQs, tailor content to customer needs, and travel domestically and internationally as required.

A six-month development plan provides mentorship and staged advancement to independent client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
• Strong verbal presentation and client-facing communication skills required.
• Understand engineering fundamentals related to thermal expansion, piping stress, loads, and support selection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations at client meetings, EPC offices, trade shows, and conferences in the United States and internationally.
• Tailor presentations to customer needs, explaining product selection, thermal movement, load ratings, and other application considerations.
• Build and update presentation materials with guidance from Sales and Engineering; communicate product capabilities and limitations.
• Answer technical questions within training scope and coordinate with Engineering on complex questions.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Estimating to support content for proposals and RFQs.
• Maintain knowledge of spring hangers, pipe shoes, guides, anchors, snubbers, and related systems.
• Travel to customer sites and industry events, participate in plant walk-downs, follow safety requirements.
• Track presentation activity, questions, and follow-ups; coordinate timely responses with internal teams.
