Gowan Company’s EarthWork Seeds in Davis, CA is seeking a Sales Coordinator to connect sales, production, logistics and accounting, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time to domestic and international customers.

Reporting to the Production & Operations Manager, you will manage orders, assist with export documentation, oversee accounts payable/receivable, support forecasting, seed inventory data, and provide HR and administrative support across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or operations management.
• Experience in the seed or agriculture industry preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems required.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable working across cultures and time zones with international customers and partners.

Responsabilités

• Process orders from domestic and international customers, serving as the primary point of communication between sales staff, customers, and production to ensure accurate information is shared in a timely manner.
• Continuously monitor open orders to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer expectations.
• Assist export documentation and logistics requirements to ensure smooth, compliant order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and country-specific import / export & regulatory requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable process in the company's system software, with support from the Gowan Company accounting department.
• Prepare monthly sales & accounts receivable reports for management.
• Assist the sales forecasting process in coordination with the sales team.
• Assist seed inventory and lab quality data, validating that forecasts can be met and promptly communicating any deviations or unplanned events to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Support the Gowan Company HR department on EWS-related matters, benefits administration, and procedures.
• Help ensure EWS facilities implement Gowan Company and state safety policies, in coordination with HR.
• Coordinate fleet vehicles, insurance, mobile phones, and general facility needs with Gowan Company.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the growth of the business.
