Job summary

Ciena seeks an visionary Global Process Owner for S&OP to lead end-to-end planning across the enterprise. You will shape the future-state operating model, partner with IT for platforms, and drive executive-aligned governance to improve decision quality and agility.

The role requires deep planning expertise, collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations, and a track record of delivering scalable, data-driven improvements in a technology environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in supply chain, operations, or planning roles with 7+ years leading global S&OP
• Global enterprise process ownership experience
• Experience with advanced planning systems in complex ERP environments

Responsibilities

• Own, design, and govern the global end-to-end S&OP process with a scalable operating model
• Define and enforce global process governance, roles, responsibilities, and decision rights
• Define, track, and report KPIs for S&OP effectiveness and outcomes
• Lead digital transformation and implement advanced planning platforms
• Champion AI/ML capabilities to improve forecasting, scenario planning, and capacity modeling
• Develop continuous improvement roadmap to advance S&OP maturity
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology
