Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Vice President, Global Planning to lead the end-to-end planning organization and align demand, supply, inventory, and capacity across the enterprise. This executive owns IBP, S&OP, and inventory strategy to deliver a reliable plan while optimizing working capital and capacity utilization.

Reporting to the VP of Global Program Management & Supply Chain, this role partners with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Program Management, and Commercial teams to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global supply chain planning, operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience leading enterprise IBP/S&OP processes in a complex global manufacturing organization.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to improve working capital and inventory performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead global IBP and S&OP processes.
• Develop integrated operating plans balancing demand, supply, capacity, and finances.
• Drive scenario planning, risk assessment, and data-driven recommendations.
• Guide cross-functional teams across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance.
