Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Global Road Safety to design and lead a benchmarking program that measures Amazon's road safety performance against peers and public data across multiple geographies.

You will source external data, build frameworks, and collaborate with safety, operations, and data science teams to drive data-driven recommendations for improvement and strategy execution globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, engineering, data science, statistics, public health, transportation, or related field.
• 5+ years of benchmarking, analytics, or related work with data-driven projects.
• Experience designing benchmarking or comparative research programs and presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Amazon's global road safety benchmarking program—defining what to measure and against whom.
• Develop methodology to compare safety performance across geographies and peers.
• Identify and normalize external data sources (government databases, industry reports, peer disclosures, research).
• Track global industry trends in fleet safety and technology adoption.
• Document best practices in driver training, maintenance, fatigue management, and safety culture.
• Translate insights into prioritized recommendations and present to senior leadership.
