Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Director, Global Revenue Accounting and Order to Cash to lead global revenue accounting for a complex, international pharma/biotech business. This role focuses on accurate revenue recognition, internal controls, and efficient processes across the revenue cycle.

Remote work is supported; the position collaborates with finance, commercial, operations and international teams to improve close cadence, billing accuracy and governance while driving automation and system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership in revenue accounting and O2C.
• Public-company accounting experience, including revenue close processes and SOX controls.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP, with experience in complex revenue arrangements.
• Healthcare or diagnostics revenue accounting experience.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments and international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own global revenue accounting policies and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Lead complex contract reviews and document accounting conclusions.
• Manage the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, enhancing accuracy and control.
• Establish governance over significant revenue estimates and monitor performance.
• Maintain SOX controls over revenue and order-to-cash processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Serve as global process owner for order-to-cash, overseeing billing and collections.
• Drive automation and standardization across revenue systems and processes.
