Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS in Boston, MA is seeking a Director of Revenue Accounting to lead global revenue recognition, oversee SEC filings, and strengthen internal controls. Reporting to the Senior Finance Controller, you will partner with external auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting for our multinational operations.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of IFRS 15 and US GAAP in a public company setting.
• Experience with SOX internal controls and external audits.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global revenue accounting policies, systems, and controls.
• Own monthly close processes for revenue and variance analyses.
• Oversee SEC filings and supporting consolidation across entities.
• Draft technical accounting guidance and liaise with external auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in revenue recognition.
