Job summary

Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWRR) Sustainability Lead drives the end-to-end sustainability program for one of the world’s largest reverse-logistics networks. You will own the Carbon vertical, set glidepaths for decarbonization, and steer the quarterly QBR with cross-functional and VP-level visibility.

You’ll shape sustainability messaging, reporting, and external positioning in partnership with WWS, WWOS, and Procurement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the WWRR Sustainability program end to end: set strategy across Carbon, Inventory Waste, Non-Inventory Waste, Packaging, and Sustainability Messaging.
• Directly manage Carbon vertical: CI glidepath, footprint reporting, decarbonization funding strategy, and long-range planning.
• Own Sustainability Messaging: substantiate environmental claims for Resale, ReCommerce, and returns; align with FTC Green Guides and ISO standards.
