Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager II to lead the Worldwide Grocery Stores Food Safety Audit program, partnering with a third party audit vendor, food safety analysts, and store leadership to ensure FDA Food Code compliance.

You will manage day-to-day audits, monitor KPI scorecards, analyze audit data, mentor peers, and drive improvements across audit procedures, reporting, and cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience cross-functional work with tech and non-tech teams
• 5+ years of managing food safety in a large-scale retail/manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• CP-FS or comparable Food Safety certification
• FDA Food Code expertise
• Travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution of Food Safety Audits programs including scheduling, coverage, standards alignment, and data integrity.
• Own accountability to KPI scorecards for 3P Food Safety Auditors and ensure on-time delivery and closure metrics.
• Manage relationship with 3P audit provider and align on standards, resolve data discrepancies.
• Analyze large audit data sets to identify risks, recurring violations, and improvement opportunities.
• Mentor peers on audit standards and FDA Food Code.
