Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Program Manager II to lead the Worldwide Grocery Stores food safety audit program in Denver, collaborating with a third-party auditor, analysts, and store leadership to ensure FDA Code compliance and timely audits.

You will own KPI tracking, data analysis, and escalation management while mentoring peers on audit standards and data analysis. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing food safety or quality programs in retail or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements using data and metrics.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Travel readiness up to 25% of time.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of Food Safety Audits programs, including scheduling, coverage, standards alignment, and data integrity.
• Own KPI scorecard for the 3P Food Safety Auditor; monitor completion, on-time delivery, scoring, and closures.
• Manage relationship with 3P audit provider; align on standards and expectations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze large audit data sets to identify risks, violations, and improvement opportunities.
• Verify FDA Food Code are reflected in audit standards and scoring criteria.
• Support escalations and track corrective actions with Operations stakeholders.
• Optimize procedures to improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting cycle time.
• Publish audit performance and trends content for WWGS reviews.
