Job summary

Motion Recruitment is assisting a global entertainment company in finding an Analyst of Global Reporting for an onsite, 9-month contract in New York City. You will consolidate AR schedules across units, support executive reporting, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

The role emphasizes monthly close processes, DSOs, cash forecasting, and variance analysis while supporting SOX/compliance activities and cross-functional project initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in analysis work or related preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace a plus.
• Strong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonal.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly deliverables required for consolidation, preparation, review, and submission of the Worldwide Bad Debt package.
• Analyse and prepare key metrics on Ad Sales, i.e. cash collections.
• Consolidate AR schedules from multiple departments; validate data for completeness and perform variance analysis.
• Partner in preparing dashboards for internal teams using multiple tools and technology products.
• Assist with reconciling domestic subledger, ledger, aging for all revenue streams.
