Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead regulatory filing programs across Form PF, AIFMD, CPO-PQR, SEC Form ADV, and TIC. You will partner with technology, compliance, fund accounting, and client stakeholders to design scalable control frameworks and data processes.

The role requires 4–7 years in regulatory reporting or related financial services, strong Excel and Python/SQL skills, and exceptional analytical abilities. A CPA/CFA or progress toward designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and at least one analytical or scripting environment (Python, SQL, or equivalent).
• Experience with multiple regulatory frameworks (Form PF, AIFMD, CPO-PQR, SEC Form ADV, TIC).
• Ability to manage complex, deadline-sensitive workstreams with accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable SME for regulatory filing programs (Form PF, AIFMD, CPO-PQR, SEC Form ADV, TIC).
• Monitor SEC, CFTC, FCA, ESMA guidance and translate into operational updates.
• Act as escalation point for data exceptions and regulatory questions.
• Lead post-submission reviews and remediation planning to reduce risk.
• Provide guidance to hedge fund clients on regulatory obligations and data needs.
• Create client-facing regulatory briefs, summaries, and impact analyses.
