Job summary

Brivo in Austin, TX seeks a Regulatory Compliance Engineer to lead global product certification efforts, ensuring EMC/EMI, immunity, and safety compliance from design reviews through market access.

You will partner with Hardware, RF, and PCB teams, manage test plans with labs, and maintain DoC and regulatory documentation to keep Brivo compliant. This role shapes global strategy and supports safe, scalable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5+ years of direct experience in regulatory compliance engineering for hardware products.
• Deep understanding of FCC, ISED, and CE directives (EMC/EMI, LVD, RED).
• Hands-on experience navigating UL standards and the OSHA NRTL scheme.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment for pre-compliance troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Define regulatory compliance roadmaps for new and existing products.
• Identify and interpret standards for emissions, immunity, and product safety.
• Serve as primary contact with test labs and certification bodies.
