Job summary

Osmo is seeking a senior Regulatory Affairs professional to own interpretation and implementation of global regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and finished products. You will independently resolve complex questions and advise cross-functional teams on regulatory risk.

Responsibilities include leading IFRA compliance, managing regulatory data, and supporting diverse functions in product development while monitoring global regulatory trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology, or related field; 8+ years in fragrance regulatory affairs.
• Global regulatory experience across multiple markets (EU/US) with ownership beyond a single home market.
• Deep knowledge of IFRA, REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, FDA/MoCRA, and related frameworks.
• Strong communication skills to advise cross-functional teams on regulatory risk.
• Familiarity with fragrance formulation and raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and finished products across global markets (EU, US, UK, APAC/LATAM).
• Drive compliance with IFRA standards and anticipate formulation changes before restrictions apply.
• Lead regulatory database and documentation strategy for accuracy and structure.
• Support Perfumery, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial as regulatory authority in product decisions.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments on materials, formulations, and finished products.
• Support customer-facing inquiries with regulatory judgment on documentation requirements.
• Track emerging global regulatory trends and translate into actionable business guidance.
