Job summary

Osmo seeks an experienced regulatory professional to own interpretation and implementation of global regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and oils. You will resolve complex issues, advise cross‑functional teams, and lead regulatory efforts across EU, US, UK, and APAC/LATAM markets.

You will drive IFRA compliance, anticipate necessary formulation changes, and guide product development decisions with regulatory insight.

Qualifications

8+ years in regulatory affairs within the fragrance industry.
Global regulatory experience across EU and US markets.
Deep knowledge of IFRA, REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, FDA/MoCRA.
Strong communication skills to advise cross‑functional teams on regulatory risk.
Familiarity with fragrance formulation and raw materials.

Responsibilities

Interpret and implement regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and finished products across global markets (EU, US, UK, APAC/LATAM).
Drive compliance with IFRA standards and anticipate formulation changes ahead of restrictions.
Lead regulatory database and documentation strategy for accuracy and structure.
Support Product, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial as regulatory authority in development.
Conduct regulatory risk assessments on materials, formulations, and finished products.
Assist in customer-facing compliance inquiries and assess documentation needs.
Track emerging global regulatory trends and translate them into business guidance.
