Job summary

Osmo is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to own interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and oils across global markets. The role operates with significant independence, resolving complex and novel compliance questions and advising cross-functional teams on regulatory risk before it becomes a blocker.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in regulatory affairs within the fragrance industry, global multi-market experience, and deep knowledge

Qualifications

8+ years in regulatory affairs within the fragrance industry
Global regulatory experience across EU/US and other key markets
Deep knowledge of IFRA, REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation (1223/2009)
Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams on regulatory risk
Experience with fragrance formulations and raw materials

Responsibilities

Interpret and implement regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and finished products across global markets (EU, US, UK, APAC/LATAM)
Drive compliance with IFRA standards and anticipate formulation changes ahead of restrictions
Lead regulatory database and documentation standards
Support Product, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial in regulatory decisions
Conduct regulatory risk assessments on raw materials, formulations, and finished products
Assist in responding to customer-facing regulatory inquiries with sound documentation
Monitor global regulatory trends and translate them into business recommendations
