Job summary

Osmo in the United States is seeking an experienced regulatory professional to own interpretation and implementation of fragrance regulatory requirements across global markets. You will advise cross-functional teams on regulatory risk before it becomes an obstacle.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in a science field and 8+ years in fragrance regulatory affairs, with deep knowledge of IFRA, REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, and FDA/MoCRA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, regulatory affairs, toxicology, or related field with 8+ years in regulatory affairs in fragrance industry
• Global multi-market regulatory experience across major jurisdictions (EU/US)
• Deep knowledge of IFRA, REACH, EU Cosmetic Regulation (1223/2009), and FDA/MoCRA
• Strong communication skills to advise cross-functional stakeholders
• Familiarity with fragrance formulation and raw materials

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement regulatory requirements for fragrance ingredients and finished products across global markets (EU, US, UK, APAC/LATAM)
• Drive compliance with IFRA standards and anticipate changes before they occur
• Lead regulatory database and documentation strategy for accuracy and structure
• Support Product, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial as regulatory authority in development decisions
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments on materials and formulations
• Assist Product Stewardship & Regulatory lead with customer-facing compliance inquiries
• Track emerging global regulatory trends and translate them into concrete business recommendations
