Job summary

Jane Street in New York is seeking a Recruiting Operations Specialist to optimize global recruiting processes, support systems, and manage key projects. You will be based in our New York office, while providing crucial support for European and Asian offices.

You will master the recruiting tech stack, document workflows, drive initiatives from planning to execution, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and ensure data integrity with reporting and metrics-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with recruiting tools and technologies.
• Highly organized with strong project management skills.
• Systematic thinker with experience documenting complex processes.
• Self-sufficient problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity.
• Comfortable analyzing data and drawing conclusions from it.
• Experience developing tools in partnership with engineering and product teams is a plus.
• Experience working on multi-disciplinary recruiting teams or in multi-office environments is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mastering our recruiting tech stack, troubleshooting issues, and providing time zone-specific coverage for global offices.
• Documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions to reduce operational friction.
• Driving recruiting initiatives from planning to execution, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborating with internal teams on recruiting tools and translating user needs into requirements.
• Maintaining data integrity, creating reports on key metrics, and offering data-driven recommendations.
