Job summary

3M seeks a Real Estate Manager to lead global RE initiatives from its Maplewood, MN location. You will join the RE Dept. Op. Committee and drive programs, processes and priorities with cross‑functional teams.

You will bring a real estate, finance, or engineering background with five years of complex RE experience, multi‑asset exposure, and strong Excel/SAP/financial modeling skills. On-site work four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or business or engineering, supply chain (completed and verified prior to start)
• High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND 4 years of real estate, IT or finance in a private, public, government or military environment
• Five (5) years of experience in complex real estate work in a private, public, government or military environment
• Five (5) years' experience across multiple asset classes; manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, office, office, and others

Responsibilities

• Join RE Dept. Op. Committee and help set department priorities.
• Develop and implement department programs and procedures.
• Quantify and analyze alternatives and deliver recommendations to BU, financial and executive mgmt.
• Manage large and complex RE projects and implement global RE strategy.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage RE assets within environmental constraints.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or business or engineering, supply chain (completed and verified prior to start)

High School diploma/GED or higher with 4 years of RE/IT/finance experience

Five years of experience in complex real estate work
