Job summary

TrendAI, the AI security leader and Trend Micro unit, seeks a senior contributor to lead rapid response for TRII. You will own the program, define workflows, and deliver timely, publication‑ready analysis for media, customers, and field teams.

You will collaborate with Threat Ops, AI Labs, and Threat Hunt to finalize the framework, scale it globally, and ensure rigorous, accurate editorial output while advancing automation and marketplace signals.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience as a cyber threat intelligence analyst with published analysis under time pressure.
• Strong technical writing that conveys deep technical material to varied audiences.
• Breadth across threat landscape including state actors, criminal operations, vulnerabilities and AI threats.
• Judgment about what is worth publishing.
• Experience building or improving processes, not only operating inside one.
• Comfort working asynchronously across a distributed team and documenting work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the rapid response model globally for TRII, scaling the framework from regional to global.
• Run the activation path end to end: signal, score, tier, activate.
• Merge scoring systems so one score routes both publication and activation.
• Close the gap between threat rapid response and market signals processes.
• Stand up and run the listening function for threat signals and market news.
• Draft and edit tactical output with experts for accuracy.
• Set editorial standards for timely, technically correct output.
• Escalate and resolve blocked work with the Director.
• Automate monitoring/drafting with AI where appropriate.
• Contribute to weekly top threats communications and sales enablement.
• Represent rapid response in monthly business reports.
