Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager Rankings & Awards to lead the firm’s participation in major legal directories and rankings, coordinating with marketing, business development, lawyers, and management.

The role directs submissions, manages resources, and advises on references and interviews to maximize rankings and recognition across the firm. A strong leader with writing, research, and coaching skills is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of managerial experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Training, coaching and presentation skills.
• Excellent research skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the Firm’s participation in key legal directories and rankings to increase rankings and recognition for the Firm and its lawyers.
• Liaises with directory management and researchers to understand methodology and submission guidelines and uses that information to maximize process efficiency.
• Advises lawyers and business development liaisons on preparing successful legal directory submissions and interviews.
• Manages resources and processes for executing submissions with efficiency, collaboration and results.
• Communicates and advocates the Firm’s strategy regarding participation in key directories and rankings to stakeholders.
• Oversees research calendars, submissions, client references and lawyer interviews globally.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to identify cross-practice submissions such as Law 360 Practice Group of the Year.
• Reports rankings and awards results to Firm management and tracks submissions in LexTrack.
• Provides leadership and operational support to the Rankings & Awards Team, including HR-related tasks.
