Job summary

Wabtec Corporation seeks a project leadership professional to drive end-to-end project execution for brakes & couplers, coordinating a cross-functional team across multiple sites and regions. You will manage schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements while serving as the primary customer contact and aligning internal resources.

You will apply structured PM processes, oversee financial performance with project controllers, and contribute to bid phases and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional project teams across engineering, quality, field services, and operations.
• Familiarity with risk and opportunity management, contract and claim management, and change management.
• Strong forecasting, margin management, and cash flow oversight in project contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Project Core Team activities to ensure successful project execution.
• Serve as primary customer contact, managing relationships and expectations.
• Manage all aspects of project execution including scheduling, risk/opportunity management, and change management.
• Oversee contract compliance and manage claims as needed.
• Monitor and drive project financial performance with financial controllers.
• Provide regular project reporting to leadership and external stakeholders.
• Support bid phase activities by developing project execution plans.
• Oversee field implementation and commissioning with field services teams.
• Monitor fleet performance during warranty and manage retrofit activities if required.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices, tools, and reporting standards (MOMs, OILs, PPRs).
• Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned (REX) for future projects.
• Support development and training of project team members.
