Job summary

Wabtec seeks a Project Manager to lead contract performance, ensure timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with requirements across projects. You will maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders and provide regular reports including risk registers and KPIs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years in project/program management, 5+ years in manufacturing or rail transit, and proficiency in MS Office and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in project or program management.
• 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry or rail transit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract administration.
• Strong leadership, team motivation and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to travel to the United States occasionally and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops project documentation including master schedules and project plans.
• Creates project schedules aligning with department timelines and milestones.
• Maintains relationships with stakeholders and manages customer communications.
• Ensures projects follow standard processes, on-time delivery and quality levels.
• Manages budget items and reports progress, risks and actions.
• Addresses scope changes with customers and justifies them.
• Implements risk management and communication plans for projects.
• Leads progress meetings and ensures effective problem-solving across teams.
• Supports other duties as needed.
