Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in the United States seeks a Director of R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management to lead a team of project managers across Vision Care, Surgical, or Pharmaceuticals/Consumer. You will drive governance, translate customer needs into product requirements, and guide global registration and launch planning.

You will mentor staff, partner with cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and champion process improvements to accelerate time to market.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of Medical Device/Pharma industry experience and 10+ years of R&D Project Management and Leadership.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills; PMP certification a plus; Agile experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers to ensure successful execution of projects and programs.
• Mentor GPPM staff and lead strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Develop global product development strategies and governance across multiple business verticals.
• Manage portfolio budgets, investment strategy, and risk across projects.
• Coordinate regulatory strategy and launch planning with cross-functional partners.
