Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) seeks an Engineering Manager to provide strong R&D leadership for the Markem-Imaje product line. You will coordinate a multi-discipline team across electrical, mechanical, AME and firmware disciplines, aligning with DoD leadership to meet business goals.

You will drive program staffing, budgeting, and risk management while promoting platform adoption and roadmap development across global sites.

Qualifications

Masters' degree in a related science field with at least 7 years of R&D experience.
PhD with at least 5 years in new product development.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, etc.
Proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver products on time.
Exposure to marking and coding equipment is a plus.
Experience in an international company is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide R&D leadership for the product line and coordinate a multi-discipline development team (electrical, mechanical, AME & firmware).
Partner with DoD cross-functional leadership to support revenue and profitability targets.
Ensure programs are properly staffed, on time, on budget and of high quality.
Drive quality and efficiency within the embedded software team across multiple sites/time zones.
Develop roadmaps and coach/ develop the team; train and mentor engineering staff.
