Job summary

Omnicell is seeking an AI Engineer in Global Quality to lead AI initiatives across quality processes, operations, and governance. The role involves designing AI-enabled solutions, including chatbots, knowledge tools, and workflow automations, while collaborating with IT, Digital, and cross-functional teams.

The candidate should bring foundational AI knowledge, experience with AI platforms, and strong communication skills to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Foundational AI knowledge including ML concepts, GenAI, AI ethics, and data quality.
• Experience with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, and related tools.
• Ability to create and manage AI agents, bots, copilots, or automation workflows.
• Experience supporting business technology solutions and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as AI champion for Global Quality to identify and evaluate AI opportunities.
• Define AI use cases with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business value.
• Create and maintain a Global Quality AI roadmap aligned with strategy.
• Design, build, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions (chatbots, knowledge tools, workflow automation).
• Collaborate with IT and Digital to integrate AI with existing systems.
• Represent Global Quality on AI governance and steering committees.
• Educate teams and develop training materials for AI adoption.
