You will draft, negotiate, and interpret complex agreements, advise GPSC clients, collaborate across legal and business teams, and help build contracting playbooks and training to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal experience in commercial or transactional matters.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Michigan in-house admission possible.
• Experience advising on strategic commercial relationships or high‑value transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to translate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and interpret complex commercial agreements (strategic sourcing, technology, licensing, supply chain).
• Provide legal and strategic advice to GPSC clients while balancing risk.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to structure transactions and support key initiatives.
• Develop contracting processes, playbooks, templates, and training to improve efficiency.
• Analyze complex legal and operational issues with enterprise-wide risk perspective.
• Build strong relationships with clients, legal colleagues, and business partners across GM.
