Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Global Public Affairs to shape and advance its global public policy and government engagement strategy.

This senior leader will assess geopolitical, regulatory, and economic developments and translate them into enterprise-wide insights for growth and brand protection. The role leads a global team, partners with Legal, Communications and business leaders, and builds coalitions with policymakers and industry groups to advance priority

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations or regulatory affairs within a global, consumer-facing organization.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes through relationship-building, strategic insight and sound judgment.
• Strong leadership, team management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication with senior executives and external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex policy developments into clear business implications and actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global public affairs strategy aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Advise senior leaders on public policy, regulatory risk, geopolitical developments and government engagement.
• Lead advocacy efforts with policymakers, regulators, trade associations and industry coalitions.
• Provide forward-looking policy intelligence and risk assessment to inform decision-making.
• Prepare briefing materials, talking points and executive summaries for leadership.
