Job summary

McNamara • Salvia, Structural Engineers is seeking a degreed accountant to support Florida and India operations, primarily handling A/P and A/R. The role requires independence and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on accurate data entry and project lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
• Excellent computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Deltek (or similar) accounting program.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including data entry and labor hours transfers.
• Full cycle A/P for Florida and India.
• Assist with India financial statements.
• Manage billing cycles including invoicing and collections.
• Participate in collection meetings for Florida operation.
• Update client communications in Deltek system.
• Manage adjustments and billing for Florida inspection projects.
• Provide support to the Controller with additional duties related to Florida and India operations.
