Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Global Project Manager. This is a remote position within the United States.

What You’ll Do

The primary function of a Global Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position involves electrical and mechanical details of major strategic project orders, focusing on Data Center Projects. It requires a deep understanding of global customer dynamics and managing technical aspects of electrical assembly project orders with a global customer base, meeting specifications and timelines for products, documentation, and quality. The role involves working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, customer-focused results.

In This Function You Will

• Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to your project orders.
• Assess and apply in-depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients in one or more specialty areas, requiring technical application.
• Upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and customer trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to achieve business goals.
• Proactively use competitive information to leverage advantages of Eaton Corporation.
• Negotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customers.
• Improve the financial position for Eaton and the customer.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience or similar.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Valid and unrestricted passport with ability to obtain visas and international travel documents.
• Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• PMP Certification.
• Strong application of Power Engineered products.
• 5+ years of electrical and project management experience.
• Experience working with global clients and managing international projects within the electrical industry.
• Proficiency in a second language.

• Ability to apply project management methodologies to reduce project risks.
• Skilled in planning and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Knowledge of major competitors and market dynamics.
• Understanding of plant scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• Advanced computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, Vista, Bidmanager).
• Effective at presenting information persuasively.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines without compromising quality.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $96,000.03 - $140,800.04, plus eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salary is based on skills, experience, and market considerations.
