Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Global Project Manager. This is a remote position within the United States.

What You’ll Do

The primary function of a Global Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position involves detailed work on electrical and mechanical aspects of major strategic project orders, focusing on Data Center Projects. The role requires a deep understanding of global customer dynamics and managing technical aspects of electrical assembly project orders with a global customer base, ensuring customer specifications and timelines are met for products, documentation, and quality. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to deliver high-quality, customer-focused results.

In This Function You Will

• Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to your project orders.
• Assess and apply in-depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients, requiring technical application.
• Upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend solutions based on analysis and customer trends.
• Ensure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to meet business goals.
• Proactively leverage competitive information to advantage Eaton Corporation.
• Negotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customers.
• Improve financial outcomes for Eaton and the customer.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience or similar.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Valid and unrestricted passport with ability to obtain visas and travel internationally.
• Sponsorship is not available; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• PMP Certification.
• Strong application knowledge of Power Engineered products.
• Over 5 years of electrical and project management experience.
• Experience working with global clients and managing international projects in the electrical industry.
• Proficiency in a second language.

Skills

Position criteria include applying project management methodologies to reduce risks, delivering presentations, understanding market competitors, knowledge of manufacturing processes, advanced computer skills, persuasive communication, and multitasking capabilities.

The annual salary range is $96,000.03 - $140,800.04, plus eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salary depends on skills, experience, and market factors.
