Eaton’s North American Sales division is currently seeking a Global Project Manager. This is a remote position within the United States.

What You’ll Do

The primary function of a Global Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This role involves managing technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders with a global customer base, focusing on Data Center Projects, and requires a deep understanding of global customer dynamics. The role involves working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, customer-focused results.

In This Function You Will
  • Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to your project orders.
  • Assess and apply in-depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients in one or more specialty areas.
  • Upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend solutions based on analysis and customer trends.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to meet business goals.
  • Proactively leverage competitive information to benefit Eaton.
  • Negotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customers.
  • Improve the financial position for Eaton and the customer.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical industry experience or similar.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Valid and unrestricted passport with ability to obtain visas and travel internationally.
  • Sponsorship is not available; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Strong application of Power Engineered products.
  • 5+ years of electrical and project management experience.
  • Experience working with global clients and managing international projects in the electrical industry.
  • Proficiency in a second language.
Skills
  • Ability to apply project management methodologies to mitigate risks.
  • Effective presentation skills for products and services.
  • Knowledge of major competitors and market dynamics.
  • Understanding of plant scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Vista, and Bidmanager.
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

The expected annual salary range is $96,000 to $140,800, plus eligibility for a variable incentive program.
