Your Job

DEPCOM Power, a leading renewable energy Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) firm, is looking to add a Project Manager to their team based in Virginia to support a portfolio of Virginia-based projects. As Project Manager, you will lead the execution of utility-scale PV Solar, Battery Storage, and Repowering projects from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities to effectively guide and manage teams towards successful project outcomes within a construction setting. This role requires a proven track record in managing EPC projects and/or overseeing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.

This is a remote role in Virginia that requires travel to field construction sites in Virginia, with travel frequency between 50% - 75% depending on project needs.

DEPCOM's Project Delivery Organization specializes in executing comprehensive, turnkey PV, BESS, and Repower projects, including collection substations and transmission lines. We leverage strategic partnerships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring seamless coordination with utilities nationwide. What You Will Do

  • Manage direct reports, including a Project Engineer and Construction Management team, applying our Principle Based Management Philosophy to support utility scale solar and battery storage projects.
  • Manage project forecasts with the Project Controls team, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to maximize value during project buyout.
  • Work with Business Development and Estimating teams for accurate project estimates.
  • Manage project schedules with support from the Scheduling team.
  • Provide project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Build rapport with customers and identify strategic opportunities for long-term relationships.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing EPC, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Skills in cost estimating, scheduling, and customer engagement.
  • Understanding of contract language.
  • Valid driver's license.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • EPC experience in Utility Solar, Wind, BESS, or industrial projects.
Pricing for this role ranges from $140K to $180K annually, with eligibility for variable pay such as bonuses.
