Job summary

Saft, a global battery company, seeks an ESS Project Director in Milwaukee to drive commercial and operational development, safety performance, and delivery of the Microsoft VRT project. You will establish the project organization, build and lead the team, and coordinate with VP Project, NAM region, and global operations to deploy processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Electrotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
• MBA or Master of Business/Commercial would be a plus.
• 15+ years of project/program, business, or financial management experience.
• Proven leadership under direct management.
• Knowledge of EPC contracts and renewable energy projects.
• Experience coordinating large cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive project management plan with resources, schedules and risk controls.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective execution using ESS methods.
• Provide timely, accurate reports on financial and operating performance.
• Lead relationships with partners, suppliers and customers.
• Coordinate with VP Project and regional/global teams to deploy processes and tools.
• Develop and lead the project team, monitor KPIs and conduct monthly reviews.
