Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, analyze variances, and assist in root-cause analysis while integrating risk reserves into forecasts.

You will collaborate with project teams, ensure compliance with procedures, and provide guidance to junior staff. Travel to project sites may be required as responsibilities demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5 years of related experience preferred.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and complex project controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Monitor cost against forecasts and update baselines.
• Generate earned value reports and perform portfolio analysis.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
