Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, collect and analyze monthly data, and produce variance analyses and reports for stakeholders.

You will ensure risk reserves are integrated into forecasts and support financial control implementations and forecasting techniques. You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with project teams and managers, and ensure adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and updates, tracking progress against baselines.
• Produces earned value reports and analyses for a portfolio of projects.
• Supports implementation of financial controls, procedures and forecasting techniques.
• Mentors junior staff and coordinates with project managers on a multinational project portfolio.
