Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S., including international portfolios. You will develop and maintain cost baselines, schedules, and forecasts, and present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include EV management, risk analysis, and financial reporting, with collaboration across project teams and management. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs; updates requirements as needed.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports for moderately to highly complex projects.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts; prepares client/status reports.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff; mentors them for future growth within the discipline.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government regulations and manages risk while coordinating with PMs and project teams.
