Job summary

Scan Global Logistics is seeking a driven Project Cargo Coordinator to support end-to-end project logistics, interfacing with sales, operations, and customer service to ensure successful cargo movements. You will coordinate domestic and international ocean shipments, manage documentation, and ensure compliance across ISF/AES filings while maintaining strong client communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Project Logistics or related field.
• Experience in inside sales, pricing, or freight forwarding is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• High attention to detail and strong communication/negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international ocean import/export and project cargo shipments from booking to delivery.
• Manage end-to-end shipment process including documentation and carrier coordination.
• Handle import/export filings and shipping documents (ISF, AES/EEI, etc.).
• Communicate with clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams to align timelines.
• Track milestones and escalate delays or issues to stakeholders.
• Support sales by preparing rate requests, quotations, and RFQs.
• Generate quotations for clients and ensure accuracy of pricing and details.
• Be primary contact for assigned clients and provide shipment updates.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and operations to resolve issues.
• Review invoices and assist with billing discrepancies; maintain organized files.
