Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Project Application Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in supporting mature engine applications and to serve as the primary engineering interface with Siemens Energy for industrial projects.

You will deliver engineering IPT objectives, plan and execute technical projects, and maintain delivery schedules and budgets, collaborating with customers, regulators and airframers. Rolling updates ensure regulatory compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of project/program management experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering.
• JD/PhD.

Responsibilities

• Primary Project Application Engineer with Siemens Energy for industrial engine applications (T56/501, Trent 800, RB211-524).
• Liaise with Siemens Energy; control technical information between Rolls-Royce and partners.
• Lead global multi-disciplinary teams; manage planning, scheduling and budgets.
• Manage Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) between Rolls-Royce and Siemens Energy.
• Communicate complex projects to leadership, customers and regulators; ensure governance.
• Develop the System Engineering strategy and ensure it is reflected in governance and schedules.
• Execute CAM, planning/scheduling, earned-value, risk management and continuous improvement.
