Job summary

Mars Incorporated invites a seasoned Program Director to lead the Mars Snacking Foundation’s philanthropic programs globally, partnering with the Executive Director on strategy, design and execution, including communications and grant management.

You will oversee a portfolio of partnerships and grants, manage budgets, monitor impact, and deliver timely reporting, while guiding teams across the enterprise to advance shared value with communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 12 years of global, strategic philanthropy, partnership design, and program management experience.
• Financial acumen with multi-million-dollar budgets and strong process management.
• Leadership with humility to inspire teams through trust and inclusion.
• Ability to cultivate relationships across all levels of an organization.
• Proven ability to inspire without formal authority.
• Ability to translate social impact concepts into business language.
• Strong measurement and reporting for impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foundation programs from concept to execution.
• Develop internal and external Foundation communications and manage vendor relationships.
• Participate in grantmaking strategy design and planning.
• Identify grant recipients and develop proposals to advance strategies.
• Review and evaluate proposals and conduct due diligence.
• Monitor grants and evaluate portfolio impact; report findings.
• Develop annual implementation plans, goals, budgets, and reporting processes.
• Stay informed on strategic focus areas and external developments.
• Collaborate with Mars Inc. corporate affairs to align programs.
